UPMC Shadyside USP 800 Pharmacies

Project Details

Two pharmacies were renovated during this project. The USP 800 Level G project involved renovation of two existing rooms on the ground floor of UPMC Shadyside medical office building into a three-room pharmacy suite that complies with the USP 800 guidelines that served as a temporary pharmacy for the renovation of the 7 main pharmacy. The three-phase renovation of the main pharmacy included new office, storage rooms, nourishment room relocation, and expansion of the existing pharmacy. Major work included a new air handler unit dedicated to the pharmacy space, steel dunnage structure for AHU, AES Clean Wall Systems for processing, and ante and buffer rooms for the new pharmacy space. The project was Level 4 ICRA.
