Project Details
The sculpture is approximately 10,000 pounds and is 12 feet high and 45 feet long. The project creates a beautifully landscaped plaza along the North Shore near the structural footing of the original bridge. The sculpture, designed by sculptor Charles Keck, depicts the Pittsburgh coat of arms surrounded by the figures of Chief Guyasuta of the Seneca Tribe of the Iroquois Nation, and pioneer Christopher Gist.
