Project Details
Mascaro constructed an octagonal-shaped, post-tension foundation 24 feet below the finished floor elevation inside an existing industrial building. Work included demolition of four column foundations and slab; installation of a cement bentonite temporary support excavation system; excavation; formwork, reinforcing, post-tensioning embeds, placement of approximately 7,000 cubic yards of concrete; post tensioning of system; backfilling; and construction of four electric tunnels and two rail trenches.
