Project Details
TCS Hall created a new gateway to CMU’s campus. The building includes a bio-retention pond along with a one level below-grade parking garage complete with a bike cage that holds 30 bicycles. The building showcases a MITES system, a CMU creation, which uses sensors to pick up light, sound, temperature, and more. With office areas, conference rooms, classrooms, and a makerspace, the facility is home to TCS Consultancy Services, the School of Computer Science-Institute of Software Research (ISR), the Master of Science in Computational Finance (MSCF), and the Center for Business Engagement.
