Project Details
The MuseumLab project consisted of exterior and interior renovations to historic Allegheny Regional Branch of the Carnegie Library. It is an extension of the Children's Museum providing maker/workshop space, office space for Museum partners, flexible gallery space, and space for the Manchester Academic Charter Middle School. The project has received multiple awards, including the 2020 Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Award for Construction Rehabilitation and the 2020 American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles Typology: Adaptive Reuse/Renovation/ Historical Preservation Award.
